Sedo.com's escrow service assures that we only get paid when the domain name you want is legally transferred to you. What payment methods can I use to pay for a domain name? The methods currently offered for buyers to pay for a domain name are: credit cards, PayPal, and wire transfer (US or non-US).
How do I make an offer? If you know which domain name you want, just click on it. This will take you to Sedo.com's listing page for that domain. There you will see the minimum bid for that domain and will be able to make an offer.
Why is there a minimum offer amount? The minimum offer amount pricing option allows 4XDomains.com to set a low pass filter on our forex domains to prevent receiving low offers that are not of interest to us. If you cannot offer an amount which meets our minimum offer, then your offer is not of interest to us. If you do meet the minimum offer amount, we are not required to sell your our name.
I have a free (standard) membership with Sedo.com; how do I buy a domain name? That's all you need in order to make an offer on a domain name.
Should I use a short, catchy name, a longer, keyword rich name, or a name that better indicates what my business does? It depends on what your objective is. If you are interested in building a strong brand, it is easier to do so with a catchy forex-related domain that people remember easily. This does not mean that a slightly longer domain name cannot be made into a brand. On the contrary, if the name is not too long and specifies what your business does, branding will still be possible (go to our domains by business type section to find out more).
